How okpl Protects Your Personal Data

These six commitments summarise okpl's approach to data privacy. They highlight the document — but do not replace it. Please read the full policy below.

Philippine Law Compliance

okpl processes all player data in strict accordance with Republic Act No. 10173 (Data Privacy Act of 2012) and NPC regulations. Your rights as a data subject — access, correction, erasure, portability, and objection — are fully recognised and honoured.

Encrypted & Secured Storage

All personal data collected by okpl is stored in encrypted systems with access limited to authorised personnel only. okpl applies 256-bit SSL encryption to all data transmissions and conducts regular security audits to verify the integrity of data storage systems.

Purpose-Limited Collection

okpl only collects personal data that is directly necessary for account operation, KYC compliance, payment processing, fraud prevention, and regulatory reporting. Data is never collected speculatively or for purposes not disclosed in this Policy.

No Unauthorised Third-Party Sharing

okpl does not sell, rent, or otherwise commercially deal in your personal data. Data is shared with third parties only where strictly necessary for service delivery, regulatory compliance, or where you have given explicit consent, as detailed in Section 6 of this Policy.

Clear Retention Periods

okpl retains personal data only for as long as required to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, to satisfy regulatory retention obligations (including PAGCOR and AMLC requirements), or to resolve any pending disputes. Retention schedules are detailed in Section 9.

Data Breach Response

In the event of a personal data breach, okpl's response protocol includes immediate containment, a formal assessment of impact, and notification to the National Privacy Commission and affected players within 72 hours of confirmed discovery, in line with NPC Circular No. 16-03.

Your Data Subject Rights

Rights You Have Under RA 10173

The Data Privacy Act of 2012 grants every data subject — meaning every individual whose personal data is processed — a comprehensive set of enforceable rights. As an okpl player, these rights apply to you in full. okpl is obligated to respond to all valid data subject requests within 15 business days.

To exercise any of the rights listed, contact the okpl Data Privacy Officer by email at [email protected] with the subject line "Data Subject Request" and a description of your request. okpl will verify your identity before processing any request to ensure your data is not disclosed or modified by unauthorised parties.

Data Privacy Officer: okpl has designated a Data Privacy Officer (DPO) responsible for overseeing compliance with RA 10173 and handling all data subject requests. The DPO can be reached at [email protected]. You may also refer unresolved complaints to the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines.
